Jennie LeMaister was born May 25, 1909 in Sedro-Woolley, Washington as Jennie Senff. She was the daughter of Gladys and Guy Senff. Her family moved to Anacortes in 1915 and she graduated Anacortes High School in 1927.

On March 10, 1939, she won the Women’s Championship award in a fishing derby and her photo was used for publicity on a pamphlet.

In 1932, she married Clyde LeMaister and they had one son: Tim.

She worked for a number of years as a secretary for local attorneys and would fill her free time by hunting and fishing with her husband as well as stamp collecting and other interests and hobbies.

Jennie passed away on April 27, 1999 in Anacortes, Washington.
